Delivery

When you order an item on swedese.se, you can choose from the available delivery methods. The delivery methods available for your order are shown in the shopping basket at the point when you place your order. The different modes of delivery are described below. If you require delivery outside Sweden, please contact Customer Services.

Home delivery to property boundary – orders are delivered to the kerbside/property boundary. Unpacking is not included.
Delivery to Service Point – orders are delivered to a service point.

Once the goods are in our warehouse ready for delivery, our carrier will contact you to book a delivery slot. You will then be notified about 30 minutes before delivery so you know the carrier is on the way.
You must be available on the telephone number you give when placing an order and you need to be at home for the entire delivery slot. With home delivery that includes carrying goods into the house, you must ensure there is a clear route to where the goods are to be placed so that we do not knock lamps or other furniture over. You must prepare the site where the goods are to be positioned so that delivery is straightforward. You should protect your floor as the carrier’s staff will not remove their shoes when carrying the goods into your home.

So that we can deliver your goods on time, it is important that you inform the carrier of any issues that may affect delivery and are relevant to your chosen delivery method, such as a difficult road, a door code, access to a lift, etc.

Our vehicles can deliver as long as there is a passable road or by using the Swedish Transport Administration's ferry services. Any other boat transportation and onward delivery from such transportation must be arranged and paid for by you.
When you receive your delivery, you will need to show the carrier valid ID.

Deliveries may be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the goods are loaded onto the vehicle.
If it is not possible to deliver the goods due to you or the cancellation was late, shipping costs will not be refunded. We can agree a new delivery time with you for an additional shipping charge of SEK 595.

Service points
Smaller consignments are sent as parcels and can be collected from the nearest delivery point. When the parcel is ready for delivery, you will receive a text notification, if you have supplied a phone number, or an advice note will be sent by post.

A charge of SEK 200 will be made for unredeemed packages.

Delivery charge

The delivery charge for your order is shown in your shopping basket as you place your order and is also shown in the written order confirmation you receive after your order has been placed.

Delivery time

The delivery time for your order will be shown in the order confirmation. All delivery times are approximate and refer to the time between receiving your order and dispatching it from our warehouse.

If the delivery time is longer than the time shown in the order confirmation, we will notify you as soon as we are informed of the delay. Swedese is not responsible for delays caused by you or a third party and that are beyond our control.

Damage in transit

When you receive a delivery, you should always check the goods for any damage sustained in transit. A note of any damage in transit, such as damage to goods or packaging or a missing package, must be made on the carrier's consignment note and signed by both you and the carrier.

You must then report the damage immediately to Customer Services:
kundtjanst@swedese.se

If the damage is only discovered after unpacking, the damage must be reported to Swedese within 7 days of the day you received the goods.

Right of withdrawal

When you buy goods on swedese.se, the applicable legislation on distance and door-to-door sales gives you the right to change your mind within 14 days. This means that you have the right to return an item without giving a reason. You need to notify Customer Services that you want to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of the day you received the goods. The goods must then be returned within a further 14 days from the date we received your notice of withdrawal.

The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unassembled, unused and undamaged. You must include the original packaging with your return. You have to pay the return shipping charge when you exercise your right of withdrawal. To return the product, please contact Customer Services for help.

A refund will be made in accordance with your chosen refund method once we have received and accepted your return. The refund will consist of the full order amount less return shipping.

Complaints

Under Swedish law, when you buy a item on swedese.se, you have three years in which to complain about any defects. This means that you can complain about defects in your product that were present at the time of purchase but only become apparent later. However, Swedese is not responsible for any defect caused by neglect, accident or similar. If you want to invoke your right to complain about a defective product, you should notify Customer Services as soon as the defect becomes apparent.

The complaint must be made within a reasonable time period from the date you noticed the defect or should have noticed the defect.
Once we have received your complaint, we will assess the product in accordance with the applicable legislation. If, following our assessment, the goods are found to be defective, we will compensate you in accordance with the applicable consumer legislation, but if the goods are found not to be defective, Swedese is entitled to reject your complaint. If your complaint is rejected, you are liable for the cost of return shipping.

If your complaint is accepted, Swedese will pay for return shipping.
